We ran our first ever camp at the end of 2007 and it was a fabulous success!!!
All of the horses and riders achieved massive improvements and managed to have a ball in the process.
Our Training Camps are designed to give both horses and riders of any level an intense session of instruction to help teach, train and improve. While the training is vital we also add a huge dose of fun and relaxation time into the mix with time around the pool, moonlight rides and day trips.
We also include theory with hands on work in the stable and on the arena as well as veiwing some of the latest equestrian DVD's.
This year we are opening our Christmas Camp to adult riders as well. While they will train in a seperate group they will also have time out to relax, sunbake, have a glass of wine (after riding, of course!) and do the same ridden activities as the Juniors.
So now there is no excuse to leave the fun to the kids!!!
SUN NORTH JUMP CLUB
As of 2009 Sun North has established the new
JUMP CLUB.
Members who wish to improve their Show Jumping and Cross Country skills will spend time in small personal groups focusing on flat work, rules, etiquitte, aids and gymnastic exercises to boost their confidence and skill on jumping courses.
Meets are held fortnightly at different venues.
Through out the year Mini Events will be held, for experience and fun, and are open only to Jump Club Members. This will provide a relaxed, stress free environment to gain experience.
Membership is a very low $65.00 per year which includes an Assesment as well as a Sun North Polo (from the wonderful Sam of HORSE HABIT!).
Each meet is $20.00 per horse for over an hour of specialised training!
Mini Competitions have an entry fee of $20.00 per horse...with absolutely NO limit on the number of entries!!!
